City Square Grill

The City Square Grill has become one of my favourite restaurants, and in my opinion one of the best on the Island. It has never disappointed my friends or me. Food, wine, and service have always been excellent. Love the City Square Grill.

Absolutely amazing! I think it is one of the best restaurants on Vancouver Island. Our server was so attentive and friendly. The presentation of the food let along the flavor was unreal. I give City Square Grill five stars. I highly recommend this to everyone!

The food was fantastic as usual! No complaints there. However, it was my father's birthday and the service was terrible! It was a Friday night and one waitress for the entire restaurant. Our drinks were never refreshed and it took quite some time for our appies to arrive. My dad ordered coffee and that never came. We went home for coffee and dessert.

My husband and I was passing tru Duncan on the way to the West Coast and we discover this restaurant .We were suprise to find a Restaurant that is so elegant and yet unexpensive, the food was delicious and the service is good and the waiter is friendly but not intrusive.

Excellent food , fantastic atmosphere and the service is outstanding. We definitely
coming back thanks to the staff of city square grill for making our dining absolutely marvelous.

It appears I must have gone on a different day then mentioned others reviews! It was expensive, bland and unknowable staff.. Who compensated for thier lack of knowledge by being rude! If you want to spend your life savings, be treated like poor class and have Mcdonalds as an entree.. Then yes, I highly recommend City Square Grill, in Duncan BC

I went to the City Square Grill and was floored by the quality of food and service. I have found it very difficult to find fantastic food in a casual setting in the duncan area, but I dont need to look any further. The soup was fantastic and the curry was not only beautifully presented but tasted exotic and delicious as well. The chef even took the time to come out and thank us for dining with them! A wonderful experience, I will be back for sure in the very near future!

Great food and excellent service. The place is so clean and staff were very respectful. This rstaurant really shows how find dining should be.

Very Good food.. there curry is excellent and also there Prime Rib nights!.. they have the best service in town.. the owner is extremely nice and. It is a good price.. considering the food you get, tastes awesome and.. the service you get is excellent!.. I highly reccomend it! and Its totally worth every cent!

I went to City Square today with a friend for my birthday lunch. What a disappointment. I ordered the chef salad and it looked okay, the dressing was good, the cheese was hard. After my second bite I looked down to see a piece of hard cheddar with mold on it. YUCK.

I told the waitress and she was about to just take the moldy piece of cheese away and not the entire plate when I told her I would not be able to stomach eating the rest. They asked if I wanted soup or anything else. I opted for their soup of the day, seafood chowder, it wasn't anything to write home about (my friend didn't even touch hers).

While the food was absolutely horrible I have to say that the service was excellent. They did not charge us for our meals at all. We were surprised at this. Even given this I won't be going back any time soon. Good service does not, unfortunately, make up for bad food (

Went there today. Good service but awful food!!! Cheese in my salad was hard and after the second bite noticed a piece of the cheese was moldy ( Sent it back to receive mediocre soup and some bread. Luckily the waitress was very nice and didn't charge us anything at all. Unfortunately in my opinion good service does not outweigh bad food. I won't be going back.
